About

Once upon a time there were three crafty ladies who generated excellent ideas under the influence of caffeine but had no forum through which to express them. They sought to combat the growing evil of creative stagnation and cultural illiteracy threatening themselves and their cities. That fateful night at the local coffee shop they took up paint brush, knitting needle, and pen, swearing an oath to blaze the trail into uncharted creative territory, and thus the Errant Easel project was born.

Our mission is to share with you the endeavors we undertake to enrich our lives with the creative arts. We want to share our journey with the world at large in hopes that someone somewhere will take up the mantle and not feel alone in their struggles to create.

We each bring different strengths, experiences, and interests to the table from knitting and photography to printmaking and painting to creative writing so we hope to appeal to a variety of folks from beginning crafters to experienced artists.
